Call for Nominations
Election will be held on Tues., May 11 at 7:00 PM
The mission of the Parent Teacher Council Organization (PTCO) is to assist in attaining the highest level of education for and welfare of the entire student body of Grandview High School through the cooperative efforts of the faculty and staff, the Cherry Creek School District community and the parents.
The PTCO executive officers (CO-President, CO-VP, Co-Volunteer Coordinator, CO-Treasurer, and CO-Secretary) hold the responsibilities of finance, secretarial, volunteer committees, planning of specific school events, and most importantly providing communication through our newsletter to the school community.
There are two open executive positions for the 2021-2022 school season. The call for nominations is open from April 27 – May 10. If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please email the PTCO at grandviewptco@gmail.com the following:

Co-Vice President
The role and responsibilities of the Vice-President include but is not limited to the following. To preside in the absence of the President(s). Works with the PTCO President to update PTCO bylaws annually. Lead grant efforts with GHS faculty. Compile grant requests and review with GHS principal for approval. Present Grant requests to the PTCO board and relay PTCO decisions to GHS faculty. Work with GHS bookkeeping on approved grant funds. Serve as the Community Caring liaison.
Co-Secretary
The role and responsibilities of the secretary include but is not limited to the following. To record, transcribe and distribute the minutes of all PTCO meetings. To post the minutes of all general meetings on the school website once the minutes have been approved by vote. To maintain and distribute a current listing of the executive board and the committee chairpersons at the beginning of each school season. To provide the PTCO President a copy of the executive board contact list so the President can provide to the CCSD Parents’ Council following the PTCO election. Maintain the PTCO website and keep information current, including meeting dates, board member contacts, and minutes.
