Hello Hana’s 3rd grade class!

I hope this letter finds you and your child settling into the new school year. My name is Jess Tribe, and I will be Hana's class liaison; if anyone is interested in helping out this year with various class projects and efforts, please let me know and we will get you involved!

CLASSROOM SUPPORT: There are a variety of ways to support our kiddos this year. For those of you able to make classroom donations, Melissa Matson and I will be keeping the third grade sign up updated throughout the year, to collect donations for snacks, special project needs, etc.

VOLUNTEERING AT IZZI B: Volunteering is a super fun way to both help out your child’s teacher and get an inside peek at all the amazing learning that is happening at Izzi B. If you are interested in volunteering at school this year, you must first complete a Volunteer Background Check and sign a confidentiality agreement (available in the front office). The various opportunities for volunteering in 3rd grade can be found on this 3rd grade volunteer sign up genius. Be sure to check it out as there are chances to support each of the subject areas at different times so that you can work with your own child’s group.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

HARVEST FEST - Oct 9, 2-5 pm at Izzi B. Join your fellow dragon families for pumpkins, inflatables, crafts, and hayrides. Tickets ($15/person in advance, $20/person at the door, kids 3 and under are free!) Click here for advance ticket purchases. This is always a favorite school event that is not only for Izzi B families but also for the entire community, so feel free to spread the word and the ticket link!

HALLOWEEN - Though there is no school on October 31, Izzi B will host their annual costume parade the morning of Friday, Oct 28th. Also on Friday Oct. 28th, there will be fall-themed parties in each 3rd grade homeroom class in the afternoon! More details and opportunities to assist with the party will be coming in the next few weeks!
