Busy as bees this week!
We kicked off our study of plants and insects by making bee life cycle necklaces that sequence the process. Jahel facilitated the group as students cut and colored the eggs, larva, pupa and adult bees.
In my group we replicated a bee hive complete with pipe cleaner bees that tend to rice “eggs” and crumpled paper “larva”.
