Our Annual Izzi B Fun Run Kicks-Off in 2 Weeks – REGISTER TODAY!

Dragon Families! We are SO thrilled to again be gearing up for our final fundraiser event of the year, and the only one where we ask our KIDS to take the lead.

THE ANNUAL IZZI B FUN RUN WILL BE ON FRIDAY, MAY 19

Our goal this year is to match last year’s success and raise $20,000 for Izzi B! These dollars pay for critically important priorities not met through public school funding. Achieving this goal together will also help us meet our overall fundraising goal for the year!

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Registration Opens - TODAY APRIL 27

• Fun Run Program Kick-off at school for ALL students - Wednesday, May 10
• Fun Run Event Day - Friday, May 19 - Stay tuned for the run schedule & families are welcome!

Donors are asked to support your student, and our school, through making fixed amount contributions or per-lap pledges. We encourage students, with your support, to reach out to extended family and close friends to seek pledges for their participation! There will be prizes given throughout, by classroom and for the whole school, when we reach certain milestones.

NOTE: There is no pressure to give, and EVERY Izzi B student will fully participate in - and benefit from - all aspects of the Fun Run, regardless of whether they raise funds or not.

DID YOU KNOW THAT FUN RUN IS MORE THAN JUST A RUN?

From May 10 - 19, our event partner - Booster - has a fabulous team at Izzi B engaging with our students daily around a themed program which changes each year, but is always beautifully aligned with our existing school values.

This year’s theme is GRAND LAND ADVENTURE; building character through the rugged beauty and wild wonders of the great outdoors. Over the course of 10 days the students will explore some of the most iconic national parks in America, and learn how to live a life of adventure and character. The characteristics they will be discussing are: Gratitude, Stewardship, Bravery, Perseverance, and Wonder. We think that this year's theme fits in so well with our Izzi B Dragon Dispositions.
