May 1
Fill your passport as you visit country tables, enjoy music and tastes of food from around the world, visit craft stations, enjoy entertainment, view a multicultural Fashion/Flag Show with Southmoor students, and more! And, for the first time, this event will be a part of a Multicultural Week celebration at Southmoor.
And, we need your help!
host a country/culture table,
walk in the student fashion/flag show,
provide food to share (bite/sample size),
provide multicultural song suggestions for a playlist used at the event,
set-up before the event,
help run the event (greet people/answer event questions/etc.),
clean-up after the event,
submit a family/cultural recipe for a Southmoor family recipe e-book by May 1st.
Sign-up to participate and/or volunteer and/or submit a family/cultural recipe here: https://www.southmoor.dpsk12.org/upcoming-dates/multicultural-night
Students/families will set up tables to represent their country or culture of origin with maps, flags, pictures, interesting facts, crafts, games, and/or food samples. Organizers will provide the tri-fold poster board in advance of the event, printing help and support as needed.
