Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
Below is the weekly update for this week. Council meeting is on Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00, I hope to see you there! Please let me know if you have any questions. Ms. Jamie
Math: We will continue learning about subtraction and addition story problems. We will learn strategies for solving subtraction story problems this week.
Writing: We will work on our fairy tales this week. We will focus on adding transition words, revising and editing.
Reading: We will continue learning about strategies to decode tricky words. We will also practice identifying the problem and solution in fiction texts.
Skills: We will be learning about the digraph Ph and the sound c and k make when they are together.
Unit of Inquiry: We will learn about sound this week and take a sound walk throughout the school.
