Hello Wonderful Parents,

This short week has flown by! We have been spending time getting back into the swing of our regular schedule. In literacy we have continued to learn about story elements. The students really love the books written by Mo Willems. His books are not only hilarious but are great books to find problem and solution. This week we have added two new sight words: put and with.  Next week we will continue to study story elements while celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday!

Hopefully by now you have heard about our upcoming Annual Izzi B Auction on Friday March 15th at the Stanley Marketplace.  Aside from being a REALLY fun event attended by many Izzi B parents, teachers, staff and other community members, it also plays a critical role in meeting IBCS Council's annual fundraising goals to fund important initiatives for the following year!

1.  100% of Event Proceeds Go To Fund Community-Supported IBCS Initiatives
The Auction alone brings in more than 50% of our annual fundraising each year and helps to make it possible for our school to pay for initiatives like technology, professional development, new curriculum for our students, exploratories and so much more.  These initiatives are put forth and voted on by Council (parents and teachers/staff) and are critical needs for our school which receive little to no funding from DPS or any other public funding source. 

2. It's An "All-Inclusive" Night
