Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

Below is the weekly update and specials schedule. On Tuesday Found Sound will be coming back to make music with our class. We will need some items for this activity. I will send home a list of possible items tomorrow. On Thursday we will have an assembly. Don't forget to sign up for a parent teacher conference. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Math: We will learn about fact families, how to make 20, and addition story problems.

Writing: We will learn about realistic fiction and how to write an interesting beginning.

Reading: We will continue learning about the setting, problem, and solution.

Skills: We will learn about vowel teams -ea, -oa, and -ai.

Unit of Inquiry: We will learn about sound and vibration. Found Sound will come to make music with the students on Tuesday. 

Specials Schedule: Mon., Wed., Fri.- Art, Tues.- P.E., Thurs. - Music
