Hello wonderful families,

We have had a very busy short week again. Our field trip was a fun experience! We got a bit wet but we loved learning about all the amazing animals the Zoo had out! The rain just added a bit more adventure that I am sure we will never forget haha.

There are lots of things coming up! 

One thing I would like to put on parent radar is in school bucks for field day. Many classes in the school will be making "team" shirts for field day. In School bucks you’ll be able to pay for your students materials  that we will use to make our shirts.

Today we had a pep rally for the Fun Run!  Here is a note from our Fun Run organizers:
Our class is having a blast preparing for the Isabella Bird Dragon Dash coming up soon! We've also begun to learn how to solve problems using character through Boosterthon's character theme, MindSpark Mystery Lab. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, your students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world. Make sure to ask your students what they've learned each day, and together you can watch the story unfold on funrun.com!

Remember, we need your help connecting to sponsors who can make a pledge to help our school! Please make sure all pledges for the Isabella Bird Dragon Dash are entered on funrun.com. The more pledges we get, the more incentives our class earns on our Pledge-O-Meter.

2. May 16th 2pm our classroom!! Kindergarten Portfolio Celebrations!!! SAVE THE DATEOn may 16th at 2pm please join us in our classroom for a few fun songs to celebrate our year together. After our songs we will share with you our portfolio's which holds a collection of our work from the beginning of the year until now. The students are always so proud of the progress they made and it is a fun way to look back on our year.
