Last Week of School – Arts Week

Hello dear families,

Next week will be Arts Week at Izzi B.  Your kiddos will get to go to Arts workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday.   Today the kids voted on the arts projects that we will be doing in class in between these workshops.  We will be doing secret letter crayon notes, tissue paper decoupage bottles (or cans), and scratch paintings.  The only material that the kids will need is a bottle, can, or some other container that your kiddo wishes to decoupage with tissue paper.  If you are willing, please send it more than one, in case some kids forget.

Tuesday is Crazy Hair Day in our class.

Wednesday is Pajama Day in our class.

Thursday will be Field Day.  Field day for 1st grade will go from 8:30-10:45am.  Lunch will be at 12:00pm.  

Thursday is Bring a Stuffed Animal  Day in our class.  We will be relaxing after field day and doing some quiet activities.

Friday is the last day of school.  Kids come to school at the normal time.  Our presentation will begin at 9:30.  After the presentation and portfolio sharing, we will have a celebration potluck.  Please bring a potluck item to share.  School will let out at 11:30am.
