Last Weekly News
Hello Parents,
This is it, I can't even believe it! Here are some final notes for next week.
I do not send home summer work packets because my hope is the children will PLAY! With that being said, they love to read, write, add, count, build, explore, etc. so I hope they will incorporate these into their everyday activities. I will be sending extra writing materials home next week. I believe they still have access to Freckle, the code is y3xbd8.
Erin will be dismissing my pick-up students on Tuesday. She comes out the west doors and walks back up between the school and the preschool playground.
Next week is Arts Week! This means we'll be participating in art projects/ experiences on Tuesday and Wednesday. No Specials next week.
Next Thursday (5/30) is field day! Here is the info:
Opening Ceremony will take place at 8:30AM on the outdoor stage. Everyone is invited.
Events for Kindergarten-2nd grade will take place from 8:45-10:45.
Kindergarten Lunch will begin at 11:45.
Please remind your child to wear close-toed shoes, sunscreen, hats etc. They are welcome to wear swimsuits UNDER their clothes, but not a swimsuit alone. Please remind them to bring a water bottle (labeled with their name), there will be water fill stations throughout the course to fill up, but there will not be cups this year.
Friday (5/31) is our last day of school! Dismissal is at 11:30. We will have a class picnic in our courtyard at 11:00 if you want to join. It is BYOL (bring your own lunch.).
