October Happenings – Wilson/Aranda’s Class

Hi Everyone,  

I know we are all getting a ton of emails and messages each day so I want to consolidate all of my info into one. Here are some upcoming things that are important to the school and our class specifically.

There will be Harvest/Halloween celebrations at the school on Thursday 10/31. Once a plan is formed, we need volunteers! If you'd like to help, please let me know. When it gets closer to the date, I will send out another message.

Classroom Wish List Items: WATER BEADS, PLAY FOAM, KINETIC SAND, MAGNA TILES, PACKING TAPE. If you can donate any of these things to the classroom, I know Mrs. Wilson and Ms. Eva would be very grateful!  

IMPORTANT DATES

Tonight 10/8 - Proceeds from your dinner purchase at Chipotle - 820 S Monaco Pkwy Unit 1B, Denver, CO 80224 will go back to Lowry. Come eat and hang out from 4pm-8pm! 

Thursday 10/10 - PTO Meeting at Lowry from 6:30-7:30. A great way to meet other parents and get involved. I will be there and I hope to see you there too! FREE childcare is always provided at the PTO meetings!

Friday 10/11 -  Fridays will now be Spirit Wear Days. Classes with the most participation each month can win a party. Plus, now during the Farmers Market, we will have a mobile spiritwear store for custom orders of our new spiritwear. Check it out on Lowryaviators.com  

Friday 10/25 - Skate City Night in Aurora! This is always a fun time and a great fundraiser. Cost is $5 to get in, $2.50 skate rental or bring your own skates at no charge. The class with the most attendance could earn their teacher $100 if we have more than 125 skaters in attendance.

Time to start planning for the Class Auction Project.  If any of you are creative and would like to be in charge, please let me know.
