Virtual Assignments for Monday

Dear 3rd Grade families,

Welcome to your first VIRTUAL day of learning!  I apologize for the late notice, but we will do our best to get through the day together.  Please make sure you have your child LOGIN to Web-Ex (I will give directions) at the following times:

8:30   READING

11:30  MATH

The students must be logged in to be counted as present for the day.  You will use this link to access our classroom:

My Google-Classroom is how I will send or push out assignments.  All links for any of the websites are also posted on there. I am available to help get everyone situated during the virtual learning day. Just send me an email: mclaned@lanesville.k12.in.us

Please see below for a parent-friendly lesson plan of their day.  This will allow YOU to help them navigate through their chromebook and their learning.  This is being sent since it is our first virtual day - let me know if you have questions!

  • Feel free to ASSIST with this since it’s the first day virtual  and only the fourth day of school

  • After the lesson, students will play the online game to practice Place Value skills.

  • Students should play this game for 15 minutes or more and should choose HUNDREDS.

Writing

Find your assignment on Google-Classroom

  • Look for the Writing Assignment. The assignment of the day is listed on the blackboard on the page. The links for the 2 videos are on the bookshelf.
  • There will be 2 videos to watch to help with your assignment.
  • After the slide show, your child will do the personal narrative page.
  • Feel free to assist!

Typing Club

Assignment and Link are in Google-Classroom

  • Students need to type for at least 15 minutes.
