City Written

Thank you for coming out to represent IBCS today at the DPS City Written Bee! Abby, Ryan, Emerson, Delina and Laila arrived to represent out school today. Results will be posted  the DPS Semantics website after 5 pm this evening. The top 25 spellers will be listed on the website. All of the student tests will be sent via interoffice mail so we can go over them and students know how they fared. I will be having a celebration for our spellers next week when we return to school. The top 25 spellers from the event today will qualify for City Orals, which is the district championship spelling bee. It will be held on February 28th at Hamilton Middle School. More info to come. 

I am so proud of each of our students for the incredible hard work and dedication they have displayed this year. I will continue to facilitate word study groups until the end of the year around Latin and Greek roots, suffixes and prefixes. We will then start again next year!
