Classroom update
Dear Parents,
I am excited to report that we've received funding approval for a number of activities this year to enrich your student's learning experience! This year we have already taken our first field trip. The children had a fantastic time and I hope you checked out their photos on the link that I provided. If not here is the link again.
Our next field trip will be to the Children's Museum. The museum has recently completed their outdoor structure and the opportunities to have the children participate in their learning is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to learn.
In addition, to these specific class experiences, there are also school-wide experiences that we will enjoy such as The Queen City Jazz Band that is coming to Southmoor this Friday, October 11th.
These requests were approved through the teacher grant request process which is funded by the PTO's $upport Our Moo$e campaign. Our ability to do all of these amazing activities is contingent on reaching our $20,000 goal. If you haven't already, please go to www.southmoorpto.org to learn more and donate.
