Field Day!
Hello, Asbury Families! We will be having an outdoor, in-person Field Day this year! Woohoo! This will be taking place Monday, May 17th through Wednesday, May 19th (Thursday May 20th & Friday May 21st are rain dates). Details are as follows:
WHAT: Asbury Field Day 2021
WHEN: May 17th-19th (Monday-Wednesday)
AM Session-9:00-11:00
PM Session-12:30-2:30
Monday: Kinder AM/1st grade PM
*8:45am All-school Opening Ceremony/Pledge (outside fire drill format)
Tuesday: 4th grade AM/2nd grade PM
Wednesday: 5th grade AM/3rd grade PM
There will be 6 events for students to rotate through, lasting 15-20 minutes in duration each (including transition time), and will require little to no equipment. Sanitizing supplies will be available at each station to be done between rotations.
On days when students are supposed to have regular P.E. or Specials, work will be asynchronous and/or planned activities by Specials teachers.
In-person safety guidelines must be followed during the event, which will include: mask wearing, six feet distancing, and little to no physical contact.
Remote students are invited to come join in the FUN in-person, yet a Virtual Field Day packet will be sent via Seesaw if they are unable to attend.
We will be allowing 1-2 fully vaccinated family members of each student to attend as a spectator and/or volunteer.
