Fun Run Results

1st Annual Dragon Dash ~ We Run As One is officially on the books and we definitely Ran As One!

The results of our Fun Run are in and all I can say is I am TOTALLY blown away!  I am so proud (and you should be too) of how all the kids embraced this run and turned on the heat to finish the race. They ran 9960 total laps averaging out to 33 laps per child. That is amazing!!

The kids thoroughly enjoyed this program and as a direct result they have really contributed to our school. All week long we have gotten some really great comments from parents, teachers and the students about how this was great for the kids and for the school, the atmosphere in the school all week long was full of contagious energy and spirit. Schuba was ducted tape to a flag pole and wore a dragon suit ...all in the same week! 

The picture attached shows the breakdown of the contribution categories ....Thank your family members!!  64% were grandparents/extended relatives which I think just goes to show that we have kids who are encouraged and supported by many people in their lives.  Contributions came in from 41 states and 5 countries....

Without a doubt we will be doing this again next year, not only because it raises money for the school but because the kids were able to contribute and be a part of building Izzi B.
