Happy Snow Day!
Hi Families,
I hope you are enjoying your snow days! I got 10+ inches of snow at my house and the wind... Oh the wind!
I hear some of the auction items are up on the Handbid app () and some items will be open for bidding today. I'm sure there are some great things to bid on, especially that amazing Glow Games teacher experience! Hahahahaha! The auction website has some great info to help answer any questions you may have. If not, I can try to direct you to someone who can.

St. Patrick's Day: Guess what showed up on my doorstep yesterday morning? And guess what is scheduled to arrive today??? YES! Our Amazon order! The Leprechauns must have been messing with us, but they knew that you decided that you weren't going to let their little tricks get us down! Those pesky little creatures! We will vote again tomorrow and you can decide if you'd like to keep our St. Patrick's Day activities on Tuesday as you previously voted for or if you'd like to do it on Monday. Think about your vote and we'll have a secret ballot when you come to school tomorrow.
Those Sneaky Leprechauns:
It will soon be St. Patrick's Day and those pesky leprechauns will be up to their old tricks! Leprechauns like to sneak around, make messes, and play tricks on people! They've already started playing tricks on us with our Amazon order!! Can you believe it?? This year, some of you may choose to try to outsmart those sneaky little guys!
If you'd like, you may build a leprechaun trap to try to catch one. What happens if you catch a Leprechaun, what's the rule? If you catch a Leprechaun, they will give you get three wishes or a gold coin to bribe their way to freedom. Remember, leprechauns are tricky creatures, so your traps will need to be clever. Use things you find around the house (empty cereal boxes, yogurt containers, etc) and think about what you know about Leprechauns to try to entice them into your trap and think of a creative way to get them to stay in your trap.
We will be setting up the traps in class, you can bring them in tomorrow. Everyone that builds a trap will have some time to share how their trap works.
Use your imagination, think outside the box (that means be creative and original), and have fun! I can't wait to see the amazing ideas you come up with!
Good luck!!
I miss you and can't wait to see you tomorrow!
