Here are a few fun tips to help encourage you & your kiddos to read together for Read-A-Thon and beyond!
- Create a "book nook"! Find a spot in your house, or room that would make a perfect "book nook" to read in! Throw in lots of pillows and cozy stuffies and get reading!
- Listen to audio books while you color, draw, or build with Legos or playdoh.
- Read together as a family! Whether everyone has a book they are interested in, or you are reading one together as a family, get those minutes in and spend extra time with those you love the most!
- Discuss your reading over dinner! Don't forget to share your MOST favorite part of the reading you did today!
