Shakespeare Festival Reminders

Tomorrow is the big day! The students do not have math or literacy homework tonight; we want them to focus on practicing their lines and collecting costume pieces.

Please make sure your child comes to school with:

- A costume (students can wear their costumes or bring them to change into)

- Sunscreen or layers (depending on the weather)

- Water

- Sack lunch (or a lunch from the cafeteria)

- Good walking shoes

Students can bring a small backpack with them to carry their lunch, water bottle, and costume. We will also bring the C3 blue Ikea bags to help hold extra items. Please do not send your child with money. There are food vendors at the festival, but in order to have an equitable experience for all students, we ask that they do not purchase anything.

Families are welcome to join us at the festival to watch the performance.

The 5A class will perform around 12:20pm and the 5B class will follow. The 5B students should be starting around 12:50pm. We will be at the Boar’s Head theater. Here is a link to the maps for the day.

After the performances, students will ride the bus back to school. Parents who attend the festival are welcome to check their students out after the performance, we just ask that you sign your child out with either one of the classroom teachers before leaving.
