Showing Appreciation for Ms. Wingard and Ms. Susan

Hello classmates and families,

The week of May 8 is Teacher Appreciation Week. I would love to give Ms. Wingard and Ms. Susan some gift cards to their favorite stores from the whole class. If you would like to contribute, please Venmo me at @hadleymanning. If every family in the class contributes $5, we would have enough to give each teacher a $40 gift card. Please feel free to contribute more! But of course, there is no obligation to participate at all. Let me know if you have any questions, or if you'd like to contribute but don't have Venmo.

I will plan to buy the gift cards the weekend of May 6-7, so please send me any contributions by May 5.

I am also planning to get greeting cards for both Ms. Wingard and Ms. Susan to tell them how much we appreciate them. These will be from the whole class, to give alongside the gift cards. I would like to include several notes from classroom families that say "We appreciate Ms. Wingard and Ms. Susan because..." If you have a thought that you'd like me to share and include in these cards, please text me at 202-631-0180. Also, if you have other ideas for how we can celebrate and appreciate our teachers the week of May 8, please share those thoughts with me!
