Singing Performance

Hi Families,

As a part of our environmental awareness study, our class will be singing the 3 R's song at our next assembly. We want to spread the word to our peers about the importance of taking care and helping to repair our environment. You may have heard your little one singing to it at home (they sound so cute). I am hoping you will allow your child to bring in a pair of sunglasses that they can put on for a small part. As well, if you have any extras, could we borrow them for any students who may forget or don't have?

I want so badly to promise these props will make it back safely but I cannot commit to a promise. I can promise that I will try my best! It would be a good idea to talk to your first grader about being responsible! So, don't send in your fancy schmancy pair. You can start sending them in asap so we can practice with them.

Our assembly is on Thursday, May 4th at 8 am in the cafeteria. You are welcome to come watch them although I understand this is a tough time of day if you work.
