Upcoming Field Trips

Hello, families,

As we near the end of the year, we have many wonderful activities and field trips planned. See below for reminders of the dates and expectations.

Tomorrow, April 26, bus to Cherry Creek High School

• meeting our pen pals!
• wear appropriate coat/rain gear for brief walks between the bus and building

Friday, April 28, walking to Holly Ridge

• weather balloon launch
• appropriate outer wear for morning walk and outdoor activity

Next Tuesday, May 2, bus to Wild Animal Sanctuary

• shoes/sneakers, not sandals
• water bottle
• apply sun screen at home
• hat
• coat if needed
• sack lunch from home (or school if ordered)

Field Day, Thursday morning, May 11 (more details to come)

I am really excited to take the class on these adventures. We have been talking about group behavior expectations as we venture forth. The Animal Sanctuary in particular has strict rules that we will follow in order to stay safe and enjoy the experience.
