Hi All,

I hope you have had a great weekend. I have been in sunny California celebrating my sister and am so excited for conferences this week!

We will have conferences for 25 minutes on Monday and Tuesday so there is NO SCHOOL. Please sign up if you have not already done so.

Report Cards:

I sent out report cards on Thursday. Please take the time to read them with your child. As you know, I work hard to describe what their strengths and growths are to hopefully prompt good discussion at home. 

Book fair: 

While I know there has been information sent out about the book fair during conferences, I also want to let you know that students in our class have chosen books they’d love to add to our classroom library. The books are in a green box with my name on it inside the library. Thank you for your support! 

Volunteers in class: 

I am putting out another request for volunteers in my classroom. We still have many students who are reading below grade level and having a parent read with them for even 15-20 minutes makes a huge difference. Please let me know if you have any interest in coming in to volunteer and I will find a time that works! 

Lauren is out:

I will not be in class on Wednesday or Thursday as I am continuing the two day training I have been attending throughout the year. Fogal will be teaching literacy in the morning and we will have a sub for both days as well.
