Weekly Announcements

As the year wraps up, there seems to be more and more going on! It was great to see many of you at the Fun Run last week! 

Passion Project celebration TOMORROW at 2:15! We are moving to the old STEAM room, upstairs above the office (Rm 201). 

Volunteering: Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering for something this Friday (you are welcome to come any time in the morning). We will be tie dyeing shirts and harvesting lettuce in our school garden! 

Please be sure to purchase a t-shirt for your child to tie dye. The best way to do this is online. 

This week, we are starting to write our opinion pieces that will be given to your child’s 3rd grade teacher. Students will be writing about why they are going to be a great 3rd grader using reasons and evidence to support their reasons. We will be working on fractions in math. Students are taking their final istation this week (and some have already taken it) so you can see their results on your parent portal. If you have any questions about that or aren't able to access it, feel free to send me an email and I can send you a copy.
