Weekly Update and Specials Schedule

Dear Parents,

Below is the weekly update and specials schedule. Don't forget there is NO SCHOOL on Monday or Tuesday due to parent teacher conferences. Exploratory's begin on Friday and will be every Friday for the next seven weeks. I will provide more information this week.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Math: We will continue learning about different types of story problems. Student will also learn about adding numbers to make 20.

Writing; Students will continue writing their realistic fiction stories. This week we will focus on writing realistic solutions, describing a character, and using lots of details to expand our stories.

Reading: We will identify the parts of a story and the main idea this week. 

Skills: We will learn about R-controlled vowels. 

Unit of Inquiry: We will finish learning about vibrations this week.

Specials Schedule: Wed.- P.E., Thurs.- Art, Fri.- Music
