Weekly Update and Specials Schedule

Dear Parents,

Below is the weekly update and specials schedule. We have Exploratories on Friday. Don't forget there is NO SCHOOL March 25th - April 1st for Spring Break. Students return to school on April 2nd. Please let me know if you have any questions. 

Math: We will continue solving addition and subtraction story problems. 

Writing: This week we will learn how to create realistic characters, write complete sentences, combine sentences using conjunctions, revise and edit our realistic fiction stories. 

Reading: We will identify the main idea and lesson of fiction texts and identify the main topic of nonfiction texts.

Unit of Inquiry: We will begin our Life Science unit about living and nonliving organisms. We will learn about plants and parts of the plant. 

Specials Schedule: Mon. & Fri. - P.E., Tues. & Thurs. - Art, Wed. - Music.
